The chocolate room was first established in Geelong, Victoria, Australia in 2006 and has quickly grown to become the leading brand in the chocolate café market with more than 269 outlets worldwide.
The response to the chocolate room concept has been overwhelming – our customers love the total chocolate experience – the drinks, we sell beautiful coffee too – the food – the atmosphere – the chocolates!
Not content to keep the status quo, the chocolate room continues to develop and grow, and now our cafes are offering a good range for our customers – this, together with our variety of handmade chocolates, chocolate drinks and chocolate food lines, makes for an excellent visit to your nearest café.
They have their outlets located in various cities of Australia like Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, Canberra, Brisbane, Darwin, and Perth.

Challenges

The Chocolate Room (TCR) Global required a customized website that had a comprehensive backend panel (CMS- content management system), so they can update their website in Realtime, as well as a brand-new cohesive user interface (UX/UI) that connect and engage their users – Franchise’s partners, customers, global partners and suppliers. TCR also wanted to link their Point of sale to their website. Apart from this, TCR wanted to design videos, logo, menu, franchise corporate booklets, training booklets to align their branding across the board.

Solution

We designed mobile-friendly responsive Website with a customized backend (CMS) panel so the chocolate room team can update their contents like slide shows, gallery, new store locations, news, blogs, and other web materials in real-time. We also connected their existing Point of sale system to their website using API (Application Programming Interface) to fetch sales data POS data and show them on the homepage of the site. We developed designs as required by TCR.

Results

The resulting website was modern and lively that perfectly reflected The chocolate room’s brands offline outlooks – as well as being responsive & updated technology, helping the chocolate room to rank high in their organic rankings. TCR also gained a great response from their franchises partners with new uniform designing materials.
