JB Medical equipment has been in the industry for over 30 years; they have been working manually with their entire business processes due to the inability to find off the shelf applications that match their business process. John (director, JB medical equipment) also wanted to improve the efficacy and efficiency of their business processes and delivery of Products. The business owner was very keen to move to an entirely paperless system. Apart from that, the business required for tracking and management of their drivers and fleet.

Solution

As a first step, we conducted an in-depth analysis of JB medical equipment the entire business process and all associated users roles. After a detailed report, we created a custom web application and mobile application system technical flow. This functional flow converted into a web demo for the customer to have a real feel of the final product. We developed web application and mobile application within deadlines and delivered them with features above and beyond client request. We connected the entire system to Australia post, an Accounting application, Google Maps, Xero, reporting system using API’s of several Applications. We created a customised reporting module for KPI management. Customer also got delivered with a fully customised e-commerce website.

The custom web application assisted the business to reduce their labour cost to improve delivery & pick up time. The real-time reports on KPI’s helped the owner to fine-tune the business process to improve overall efficiency and efficacy of business. Customer satisfaction has been enhanced due to enhanced automated communication and online rental product ordering. The finance team is happy with automated invoicing with integration to existing accounting software Xero. The mobile app has reduced average delivery and pick-up time from 45min to 5-10min/job.
