How long does it take for a domain to transfer between one registrar to another registrar?
Depending on how long you take for the confirmation of the change and the time your current registrar takes to approve your Domain transfer request, a domain transfer can take up to anywhere between 10 to 14 days.

Due to multiple factors affecting the process, it’s not possible to perceive the exact time frame. But usually, it doesn’t take more than 14 days to complete the transfer.

During the procedure, you might receive an email requesting your approval for the transfer of the domain. You’ll have to accept the request to initiate the transfer.

Generally, domain transfer also includes a change in the DNS setting through a process named “Propagation.” Any information regarding the changes made in DNS settings has to be propagated throughout the World Wide Web.(click here to know more about DNS settings.) It’s a simple process and takes almost 72 hrs to relay the message to all the routers and servers globally.
